Dr. Goselle Mohammed Nanven

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Goselle Mohammed Nanven is a distinguished economist, financial strategist, technology professional, and business leader with over a decade of experience in banking, mortgage finance, investment management, project management, information technology, and corporate leadership. As the Chief Executive Officer of Zinni Finance Ltd, he provides strategic leadership, driving the company’s vision of delivering innovative, inclusive, and sustainable financial solutions across Nigeria.

Dr. Nanven has held leadership and advisory roles across the financial services, project management, and technology sectors. His expertise includes financial analysis, investment and portfolio management, credit management, project financing, strategic business development, corporate governance, and human capital development. He holds Certificates in Banking and Finance; Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Economics; a Master of Financial Economics (MFE); a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Financial Economics; and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics. He is also an Executive MBA candidate at Nile Business School, Nile University of Nigeria.

His research focuses on financial inclusion, investment banking, non-interest banking, SME financing, economic development, and poverty reduction. He has completed several executive programmes in finance, corporate governance, executive management, and information technology, and is an Associate Member of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES), Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN), Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria, and the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). Beyond finance, Dr. Nanven is Chairman of Zinni Group and Board Chairman of the Ambassador Nanven Charity and Educational Foundation. At Zinni Finance Ltd, he champions innovation, responsible lending, strong corporate governance, financial inclusion, and technology-driven financial services that create lasting value for customers, investors, and society.

Barr. Susan Nerat Dung
MD/Chief Investment Officer

Susan Nerat Dung, Esq. is a seasoned legal practitioner, financial services executive, and business leader with over 20 years of post-call experience and more than 15 years of progressive experience in banking, microfinance, fintech, mortgage finance, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

She commenced her legal career in private practice before transitioning into the financial services sector, where she built an impressive career across microfinance, fintech, mortgage banking, and financial advisory. She held key leadership positions at Municipal Microfinance Bank, Hasal Microfinance Bank, where she served as Head, Legal Services and Head, Loan Monitoring & Recovery, and Rank Capital Limited, where she provided legal, compliance, and risk advisory services within the fintech ecosystem. In 2010, she founded Inquest Associate, a reputable law firm providing specialised legal advisory services in corporate and commercial law, mortgage and real estate transactions, property due diligence, title verification, regulatory compliance, debt recovery, litigation, and dispute resolution. Through the firm, she has successfully advised leading mortgage banks, financial institutions, real estate developers, and corporate organisations on complex legal and commercial transactions.

As the Managing Director of Zinni Finance Limited, Susan combines her extensive legal expertise with deep financial services experience to drive sustainable lending, corporate governance, strategic growth, regulatory compliance, and innovative financial solutions that expand access to finance for individuals, SMEs, and businesses.

She has participated in several executive development programmes and professional certifications, including the Micro & SME Banking Summer Academy at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (Germany), CBN Microfinance Capacity Building Programme, GIZ/SEDIN Loan Portfolio Development Programme, executive leadership and project management programmes by Phillips Consulting, leadership development programmes by AFOS Foundation, and Train the Trainer & Rhetoric certification by BA Associates. Susan is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the Unity Bar Association, and is recognised for her expertise in corporate governance, financial regulation, risk management, legal advisory, mediation, arbitration, loan recovery, corporate restructuring, and institutional leadership. She is passionate about building resilient financial institutions and promoting financial inclusion through sound governance, innovation, and strategic partnerships.

Mr. Emmanuel John MCIB
Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Johnson Okhumode Emmanuel, is a seasoned banking and microfinance executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in commercial banking, microfinance, agricultural finance, rural enterprise development, and financial inclusion.

As the Chief Operating Officer of Zinni Finance Ltd, he provides strategic and operational leadership, driving operational excellence, sustainable growth, risk management, and customer-focused financial solutions. He is committed to expanding access to finance for individuals, entrepreneurs, SMEs, women, youth, and underserved communities. Before joining Zinni Finance, Mr. Emmanuel served as Chief Operating Officer of Finsol Global Foundation, where he led agricultural and rural enterprise initiatives, strategic partnerships, credit operations, and capacity-building programmes for MSMEs. He also held senior leadership roles at Hasal Microfinance Bank, including Regional Head, Head of Agricultural & Rural Finance, and Head of Branch Services, overseeing branch operations, business development, agricultural lending, credit risk management, and regional growth. Earlier, he served as the pioneering Head of Operations at Fortis Microfinance Bank and held operational and business development positions at Trade Allianz Finance Limited and other development organisations. His expertise includes banking operations, business strategy, microfinance, financial inclusion, credit risk management, agricultural and SME finance, business development, strategic partnerships, customer relationship management, and leadership development.

Mr. Emmanuel is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (MCIB), a Certified Microfinance Practitioner, a Member of the Institute of Credit Administration (MICA), and a Certified Train-the-Trainer (UNDP). He holds a B.Sc. in Agricultural Extension and Management, an ND in Agriculture, and additional qualifications in Business Accounting.

Mr. Afeez Ismaila, FCA
Executive Director

Mr. Afeez Ismaila, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a results-oriented finance executive with over 12 years of experience across banking, capital markets, construction, and real estate. As a Director at Zinni Finance Ltd, he provides strategic leadership in financial governance, credit administration, investment management, and lending operations, driving growth and strengthening the company’s financial frameworks.

Mr. Afeez has extensive expertise in financial control, IFRS compliance, structured finance, risk management, portfolio management, and corporate governance. He previously served as a Board Member of the Corporate Reporting Faculty of ICAN, contributing to financial reporting, regulatory disclosure, and governance standards.

Before joining Zinni Finance, he was Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director of Mutual Capital International Limited, where he led portfolio strategy, product development, and institutional investor relations. He also spent five years at Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, structuring credit facilities, managing loan portfolios, and preparing executive credit proposals.
